Individual Tax Returns Deadline 2025

Tax returns for the 2024/25 tax year were issued on 2 May 2025. The deadline for submitting the completed returns to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has been confirmed as 2 June 2025 for individuals. Sole proprietors of unincorporated businesses have a later deadline of 2 August 2025.

Taxpayers are encouraged to file their returns online via the eTAX portal (e-filing). By doing so, they will receive an automatic one-month extension on the filing deadline, as follows:

  • Individual taxpayers - 2 July 2025
  • Sole proprietors - 2 September 2025

Be sure to file by the relevant deadline to avoid facing penalties!
